Hello Everyone! I have decided to join after being invited by Bvr Wally and G-Man. I have 3 early Chevy Vans and 1 '77 Dodge. I'm addicted to vans like the rest of you. Hopefully there is no cure for this disease. Cool

    Polar Bear,
Is that your white early? It looks real familar to me. I used to spend my summers in southern California (1983,1984,1985) and recall seeing a van just like that. I bought a 1969 108 from Woodland Hills in 1985, drove it home to Ohio and still have it today. I hung out in Chatsworth, Ca.

Yes, that's the Van I had back in the mid-late `70's early `80's. (May it RIP) I'm a bit farther South than Chatsworth though.

I am building PolarBear2 right now and it will be very similar. Going with a 700R4 instead of the 4spd though.

    Again, Welcome to the Forum

    Welcome KC!

Vans are the cure, not the disease! At least that's what I'm trying to sell my gf... my stable has grown this year! My '64 Econoline Falcon has been trouble since I got it, so my gf isn't yet keen on earlies. But I got bit again... found an early Fargo and trying to contact the owner (shh... don't say anything yet) Laughing

Just for a little fun, I'll post the Fargo in the van sightings area or whatever... it's irresistable, and I know you'll understand why I have to have it, and why you shouldn't worry about finding a cure... you've found it already!

    Cheers!

Welcome fellow Chatsworthian. I'm a Chatsworth High alum from back in 72'. Drove a 69 Ford Econoline shorty back then.
