I'm new to the site. Just wanted to say hey, HEY! I had a 66 Chevy Sportvan in the 80's, lost her to an accident. I just bought a 65 Chevy Sportvan. You can see my gallery photos at SportVans 1965 Chevy SportVan Deluxe. Got a long way to go, but I love having a Van again. My wife likes it too, what a plus! Gonna have to start with rebuilding the rear end and going forward fixing things. Fortunately, the floorboards are solid and the engine doesn't smoke at 131K. The last photo is what I plan to paint mine to look like, only with Crager SSs and Michelins. May need some expertise from my Chevy brothers from time to time, I'm not a mechanic. Until then! It's nice to be in the Van Family again.

Thanks Dodge Man - FYI I know of an older Dodge Van, sorta like yours, sittin in a field just wasting away. Been in that spot for 3 years that I know of. From a distance it looks like factory brown paint. Message me if interested and I can acquire about it.

Dodge Man, I hear ya! I on the other hand must ber careful I don't get outta contrrol having too many things. My wife said she wouldn't mind my gettin/keepin the 65 Handivan - have a his-n-hers. Nope, means more work, more maintenance and like yer wife, one's enough, lol

Hey there! New here from California! I don't even own a van YET! I'm 23 looking to buy a windowless panel van preferably ford but I'll take whatever I can find. I used to own a 1950 Chevy sedan with a straight 6 so I trust the old 6's. Now all I got is my old Ironhead. Keep your eyes out for me!!
