    Bill its looking great ! the chrome is sweeeeeet...your going to love how it stops when all is done...i have been driving mine back and forth to work since I completed the brakes....its a great feeling to know you can stop without any issues. cheers

    whopman,ya I'm kind of curious to see the difference I've been driving it for the last year and a half and my brakes were working great no pulling or fading so I can't wait to see the diff ,and get on the road again she's been in the shop for the last 5 weeks. Bill

    Thanks guys ,local chrome shop did it theyhave been around forever,the front bumper was $325 and the head light rings and license plate bracket were $85. bill

    Well the day has finally come,I pu the van today the disk brake conversion is done I wiil post more pics later(batteries in the camera went dead while at the shop last night ) Bill

    Picked up the van and it drives great,The disk brakes are fabulous .The only real modifications on the install were making a bracket to mount the bottom of the shock on top of the axel and mount the top to one side with a llitle hardware and had to move the sway bar back a little. Bill

    next on the list,
    new front tires changing from 195/65/15 to 205/60/15
    correct steering wheel adapter to get turn signal cancel working
    shocks are new but I want gas shocks on it
    start on a headliner before anything else on the interior

    Nightmoves thanks,I wasn't going to do the disk set up yet but the shop that did my rearend and rear brakes talked me into it(ha ha)I needed front brakes and wanted the dual master cyl so I thought what the hell and did the disks. the system truly works fabulous and I am very pleased.it stops smooth!     One more thing to check off the list put 205/65/15 inch tires on the front ( were 195/65/15) made a nice difference in the ride. Bill

    B.W. The pedal height is great after a 45 minute brake bleeding session (with 3 guys) had a ton of pedal.Freind that did the install is on vacation till next week so when he gets back I will get some part #s .Install was very straight foreward main modtfications were relocating the shocks and swaybar but those are real easy mods. The throttle cable set up they did works fantastic. Bill

    After a coupkle of months and some road time with the disc brakes they are fantastic even a couple of unplanned panic stops and all is welll very glad I did them.I haven't gotten my bill yet ( for the brakes)but when I do I will post some parts #s and stuff.Got the wiring in the back of the van cleaned up ,so now onto the headliner and start on the interior,I can't wait to start insulating and boxing in the back!     Bill....you said they had to adjust the sway bar to clear ....did the relocate it forward on the frame to clear the shock relocation?
