Vanish, Thanks I wanted a certain look so while it was in the body shop 1 1/2 years ago I showed my wife pics of the craeger ss and the torque thrust and said you pic (she picked the craegers) so i got them and bolted them on right there in the body shop. They are 8 1/2 inches wide on p235 60 r 15 rear and 6 inche wide on p 195 65 15 front standard offset (no reverse) there is only a one inch diff in the tirei hieght between the front and back .No rubbing and all the clearance you need. Thanks Vanish, There is room on the back side for more tire .Not much wider and they would stick out. Bill

Vanish,Heres a couple of better pics I think a 50 series(wider) tire would fit but when I was looking originaly the sizes were limited and I didn't want to tall a tire.Eventually I might put a 50 series on the van if I can find one the same hieght as what is on there now. Bill

about 2 inch clearance now

Vanish my brother has 50 series on the back of his 66 Chevy and they don't rub at all. I have them on my 65 Econo and no rubbing.

They stick out maybe 2 or three inches. His van has the California rake. I think the rear and front leaf springs were re-arched before he got it. I don't have any good close up pics but he only lives 15 miles from me so if I get a chance I will go by his place Sunday. I would go tomorrow but my club is putting on a car show to benefit the new Santa Fe Railroad museum here in San Bernardino. I don't think my brother will be there since he is sick but if he is I will get you some pics. His van is the same color as the one in your avatar.

The pic above is one of the ones Dice Magazines took at their photo shoot. It will be in the mag in the near future. Applevalleytims Chevy van and my 65 Econo as well as my other brothers 64 Falcon van and the club presidents Econo are all scheduled for features in the same mag.

I forgot the rear tires are N50s and the fronts are G60s

I was able to get some pics today.

Bowtied came down from beaverton we met up and took a short country drive out to a van I looked at the day before and he bought it. It was a nice drive and a nice day. It was fun criusing with another vanner.
