Does anybody know if the dash speaker for a '69 A108 is a 4"x10" oval? Thanks

It is 5x7. I bought a retrosound stereo dual coax for it. Perfect fit. But sound didn't get better

Re: Dash Speaker Size
To get better sound you sound you will have to get a stereo and speakers that will not fit in the original location. Price is your only limitation, and your fabrication skills to make it fit.
To get something better to fit the stock location, I know of none. With a single speaker you won't get very good sound anyway.

Re: Dash Speaker Size
Especially considering that the stock location is an "open" speaker, not an enclosure. That would be the first step to consider for better sound quality.
