Are there any Vintage Van Clubs in Kansas?? Question
I am about to purchase a 68 Sportman (profile pic) and was just curious?
I used to have a Custom Lowrider and Loved going to car shows. sunny
I still have my 64 Schwinn Stingray Lowrider Bicycle.
A Vintage Van "Tag" would also be a cool addition. scratch
    Just a suggestion...
    Thanks,

If there are none start one. May take a few years but it will grow. I used to think I had the only early in my area, but now I know of 5-6.

There's your chance,Fingaz. You could be pres.,v.p.,ceo,all in one package!Set up your own retierement package too.lol
I do like your idea on a Vintage Van tag.Seems like it'd be simple.Just a two or three color like the logo.Any silk screeners out there? Could be a website revenue builder. I'd buy one for each van.
I know how ya feel there G-Man.I know of 5 earlys in this area, and I own 2 of them.heh But summer is approaching,cruise-ins will be happining before long.I'll drive mine just to see if I can scrounge up other vanners, leave the 'sled' at home.

How does "Classic Oldies Van Club" - "Early Classics Mini Van Club" - or just - "Earlies Van Club" sound for a club name? (i like the last) It could be universal for the States or even world wide for all classic vans. I know of atleast 2 that I have seen in my area of town. The hard part would be getting those who have to join.
I would love to see Vintage Van tags on everyones vans. lol I know I would buy one for mine. As far as silk screeners, Im sure there are some here??

There are more early's around you both of you than you think, Im sure of it.
fingazmagee, don't like the one name with the mini van in it. (I think the mini van is one of the things that hurt vanning, they made it uncool to drive a van I think.) Keep your club name simple like Wichita Early's or something like that.

Our MidSouth Econolines meet (Yahoo oldeconolines) has now grown to the point that we have a dinner once a month for those just in my area of the state, White County, AR. We are in regular contact now and have added five members in the last year! It's great to have a group of people you can call when you need help and they're not far away.

Get it started, always park out front and use your Early for advertisement! Every club starts with the first member and you never know how fast or large your group will grow.

Good luck and welcome to Vintage-Vans!

    Later,
    Rip

"I still have my 64 Schwinn Stingray Lowrider Bicycle."

I had one of those too! (Long gone though.) Black, with twin mirrors and silver sparkle banana seat. I just saw a purple one at the Charlotte car auction last week, although it was in less than perfect condition. I loved that bike.

My Schwinn is Green, custom body panels, hand-sewn seat, daytons, white walls, and alot of twisted chrome. Have about $1500 invested and needs to be redone again! Damn. When does it ever end. lol I do love my bike and love to ride it as much as i can. I lowered it even more by cutting the spring.
