    Got a 1996 Dodge Cummings Diesel Truck .... Starter is Bad .. went to change it .. this Bolt Looks Like it's Got 16 Sides to it !!! 6 point don't fit and 12 point don't Fit !!!!! What is it ?????

    10mm sounds pretty small for a starter bolt......

    are you sure it has 16 sides?
    it looks like what we call a triple square. 12 sides. but a 12 point socket should have fit. I will ask some of my diesel truck buddies.
