I just received these today for my front door glass its the channel seals between the glass and vent and the channel across the top and back side of the glass, has anyone ever replaced these ? is there anything I should know about installing them ? thanks for any help, john

It's easier to remove the window and install , but if that is not in your plans use pb blaster and lube the window and behind the weather strip , And try to pull it thru either up or down but it won't be easy with the window in,

John did you order the wisker strips that go on the inside and out side of the glass ?? if so those are a real bitch with the glass in , and they are cheap

Thanks for reminding me of something I want to do for the Dodge before I get it out in the spring! Post pics if you can Dodge man! I am watching for pointers. Also, maybe a link for those whisker strips?

here is the company i bought mine from, The web site sucks but the products are good, they were called Cat Wiskers I think the manufactor was Top Cat , you would be best off calling them.

yeah I put those in last year dix, they just clip in, I got mine off ebay tom, i'll take some pictures when I get to doing the job, I may go out to the garage today and remove the glass, if its warm out there,

I just spent 2 hours trying to remove the vent, it has to come out to get the glass out, the manual says it has a retaining screw through the weather strip, NO SCREWS there, does anyone know were the screws are hiding that hold the vent in ?

small phillips head all the way up top hiden with the weather strip, look for a small hole in the weather strip,

I've replaced the weather strips last year but I removed it were any screws would be, i'm afraid someone has welded it, but do you say the screw would be on top ?

John i'm trying to remember 5 years ago. i know the screw is there the spot weld you are seeing is factory but does not affect the removel, I'm trying to recover from the flu, BUT i did go in the garage to look, but i can not see it either, maybe look near the pivot point. sorry buddy i'm trying for you. The flu sucks, what pade om the service manual did you locate the info ??? I hope some one else has done this more recently and will step in...

I sure appreciate all your help, the manual doesn't give a good picture, it says there should also be a screw beside the vent glass that goes straight down, no screws there either , i'm hoping someone chims in with a picture, if I ever figure it out i'll let you know, thanks again, john

John can you use a inspestion mirrior and a light to look for the screw sticking down ???just a thought,

Rod is the man, he helped me out. the screws are behind the rubber vent seal. you have to pry the seal out to find them and hope you don't rip it, thanks for all the help
