It's easier to remove the window and install , but if that is not in your plans use pb blaster and lube the window and behind the weather strip , And try to pull it thru either up or down but it won't be easy with the window in,

I just spent 2 hours trying to remove the vent, it has to come out to get the glass out, the manual says it has a retaining screw through the weather strip, NO SCREWS there, does anyone know were the screws are hiding that hold the vent in ?

I sure appreciate all your help, the manual doesn't give a good picture, it says there should also be a screw beside the vent glass that goes straight down, no screws there either , i'm hoping someone chims in with a picture, if I ever figure it out i'll let you know, thanks again, john

got the vents out. what a job, you have to pull out on the vent seal to access the top screw and pull up on the bottom of the seal to access the other screw
