Re: BBD CARB REBUILD KIT
SHUBXDAN, welcome to the site!
Most of the major parts stores can get most parts for our vans. If you have an old school parts store in your area, even better. They will know what you are asking for and might even have it on the shelf.
On BBDs, the things that wear out and can mess with a straight basic rebuild are throttle shaft wear and Accel pump well scratches and check ball sealing. the well can be polished, the check ball area can be peened with the old ball but the throttle shaft wear is not something a DIY'er is able to fix easily. Crack the throttle slightly and try to wiggle the shaft up and down. If it moves much, you should try to find a better core.

Re: BBD CARB REBUILD KIT
We are lucky if we can still find parts for our vans, however,if I have a choice, I like the Carquest Sorensen or Borg Warner carburetor kits.......

Re: BBD CARB REBUILD KIT
I used that same kit on my BBD/273, worked great.
pay close attention the the diagram and disasemble the cab in a pan of some sort. There are two different sized small bearings/check balls in the carb that go into specific places.
My carb was actually missing one of them when I took it apart, I added it back in with the one in the kit.

Re: BBD CARB REBUILD KIT
Just be happy that you can get a carb kit of any kind,,,,,,you won't be that lucky when you try buying other stuff for an old van.....and you surely won't be getting a break on the price if you find something......
