Happy Thangsgivingkuh! Here is how I spent the first part of my day...at Pick-A-Part...

    The Surfing Guy's 65 - Page 38 Img_2014

Then I ran into a couple fellow vanners (Vanagain on the left and LeftCoast to the right)

    The Surfing Guy's 65 - Page 38 Img_2015

Leftcoast found an HEI and so did I...mine was in this cholo ride a 1979 Chevy Nova (inspiring me on some new interior)

    The Surfing Guy's 65 - Page 38 Img_2016

    Inline six (like mine)
    The Surfing Guy's 65 - Page 38 Img_2017

And I found a "new" table for camping in the van and some oh sh!t handles for getting in and out of the van!

    The Surfing Guy's 65 - Page 38 Img_2018

Then it was off to some football on the couch and A LOT of eating!!!!

So today watched Scott try and drill a hole in the wood paneling with his HIGH QUALITY drill bit so we could make some braces to hold it up better ,,,,,,,,and since I had to spend 2 hours assembling and cleaning  my spray equipment for a 3 minute spray of clear coat on that blue steering wheel,  I might as well sand and fix the dents in my doghouse from all the stuff I have been hauling and repaint it,,,,,I brought him a sample door of 4 types of primer I sprayed for him to pick out what he wants to put on the insides of his ugly doors,,,,,,

On another note...these came in the mail today. It is amazing what money will buy (that's how I feel about the price)!!!! BUT, they sure are nice and new/safe.

    The Surfing Guy's 65 - Page 38 Img_2024

If anybody is interested...I got them at SeatBeltsPlus.com

Also, I picked up some tools that a person should own ,

    The Surfing Guy's 65 - Page 38 Img_2025

There have have been several occurrences when we needed these tools, but I did not have em...and/or the ones I had worked like this!  cyclops

You can never have enough tools. Every time my wife wants a project done at the house, I tell her I can do it for the price of a new tool like a mini air compressor and nail gun. Only problem is, then she comes up with tons of projects to get HER moneys worth out of my new tools!! Ditto on the Birthday wishes for King Donivan!!! He's one of this sites greatest assets!

10-4. Tomorrow I am going to post a final picture of the steering wheel rehab (thanks Don for helping a brother out with some clear coat!)...and I will post the progress on the doors. If it makes you feel any better, it was 34 degrees at my house this morning. BUT, as Don said, we are in for some summer in December...should make for some good paintin' weathah!

It would have to be a CheeseSteak if I drove all the way to Connecticut,,,,,,that is one of those fold up ladders,,,,,on some furniture/engine/transmission dollys,,,,,,sure makes it easier to move those doors around to get them completely painted,,,,,,, it works better than my other idea,,,,,,,,
