That was just my dumb humor. We are building a fence and 97% of that wood is for that project. The other 3% for the van! Razz

And that was just me being a smart A$$!

Anxious to see what you do with the interior...

Looks like a Great turnout for the picnic as well! This time of year makes us East Coasters jealous as we get ready to button up for winter.

Yep, definitely at the point where I can get some enjoyment out of the darn thing (thanks again Don). Can't wait to finish the interior and head out for some camping with my boy! But, all in due time....

It was a beautiful day to hang out, eat hot dogs, and talk vans with some vanners I hadn't met before. Too bad we couldn't get all of them in one row, but here's Don parked next to three Sportvan Deluxes:

Thanks Vanny...you help the motivation continue to flow!

Today, I tightened up some bolts that had loosened a little since we re-built the engine, checked fluids and finally re-installed my shocks! I learned that with these old vans, you do not really even "need" them and you will have a pretty comfortable ride.

I'm about to take the van for a spin and adjust the steering wheel if need be and then it's back to the beach to go surfing (was there yesterday)!
