    George, where are you mounting the condenser? It gets hot in that doghouse if you're sitting in traffic.

    its going in front of the radiator and the fan is going between the radiator and engine,the fan is the highest cfm single fan setup I could find.It pulls(or pushes) 3300 cfm,more than alot of duel fan setups.I'm hoping it will be enough.

    Im about to modify the firewall to fit the ac unit under the dash properly,also thinking about cutting the foor pan to allow mor air flow to the engine.doing so will result in ALOT more fabrication

    It's pretty common for people to install tunnels. The 2nd generation GMs came with them from the factory.

    I know of a van where the owner made a tunnel in the rear of the doghouse as well. Some have also put boat bilge blowers in to remove the heat while idling and to prevent carburetor vapor lock.
