+also - there should be "B" on the back of the lat= red 10 ga wire goes there -lokw a larger stud. then=a blur or=green wire -smaller in size goes to -"F" term and then a "white??" going to the "R" terminal - these last 2 wires come from the voltage regulator (same marked terms there) so might check color codes on the regulator to what you have on the (near) alternator- as could have been changed or spliced? questions just ask

The 2 wires, F and 2, on the regulator go right to the R and F terminals in the alternator,,,,,,(the darker wire would of been the F wire) so you can check it with an ohmmeter, to see if it is the right wire or if the connector is missing,,,,,,,or just put some female spade terminals on the ends of the wires and plug them into the right places in the alternator. The 2 regulator wires plug into the alternator, while the bigger battery wire screws onto it.

Alright. I got it all hooked back up. and hopefully working. I was looking at some of my other wiring. And the wires that run to my Voltage regulator and the wires are so old they just broke right off. Can you buy replacement ones.?

That's just old age catching up with your van,,,,,,,The # 3 wire on the regulator just goes to one of the little screws on the horn relay and the F and 2 just go to the alternator, #4 goes to that connector by the side of the carb, so those are just simple wires with female spade terminals on them,,,,,,you can unhook those terminals out of the connectors and put new terminals on new wires to upgrade them,,,,,,Or,,,,,,,you could rip out all your wiring and install one of those big money universal wiring kits,,,,,,

And this would be the most common terminal inside the connectors ,,,,You can buy them and they come out of the connectors if you reach in there with like a paperclip and press that lock tab down,,,,,,
