banjo/inverted flare union tee fitting Empty banjo/inverted flare union tee fitting

Post by Guest Sat Feb 06, 2010 11:35 pm

Does anyone know where I can buy one these banjo/inverted flare union tee fitting that is located on the brake master? One of the inverted flares is damaged on mine and it pisses out brake fluid. Don't worry, I'm not driving the van like this, just trying to get it on the road.

I thought maybe I'd be able to drill the banjo hole in a 3/16" union tee fitting, but they are too small.

    Found this...
    http://www.brakequip.com/fitting4.html

Part number BQ90 looked like it could have a 1/2" hole drilled through to make the banjo, but I sketched it out and it's a no go. The mounting hole would overlap the banjo hole.

    I could use these I guess... http://www.brakequip.com/fitting8.html
Part number BQ60 could be used if drilled out to 1/2", but then I would need to find or make a triple banjo bolt and add in the pipe thread in the end for a brake switch. Getting complicated.
