Quick Tire Question Empty Quick Tire Question

I have a set of rims 14x6 on the back and 14x5.5 on the front, that I plan on putting on my Econoline.
Before I go out and buy tires, Does the extra width in front make that big of a difference in steering ?

It makes it a little harder to steer at times. I'm running 15x7's with 225's and really don't have any issues..
