I have the stock bumper but not crazy about them at all. I have been looking around for a "different" front bumper to use. I keep coming back to a 32 Ford front bumper, very cool. I was wondering what alternatives you have all been using?

Wow, I'd never heard of that! Bummer. I don't know that I can verbalize a vision I've had, but what about a 20's-30's style of thin metal tubing in a loop, strung between the bumper brackets? (don't feel bad if you can't picture what I'm trying to describe!).
That truck was done about 30 years ago and is still around MA, he owners name is Paul. It needs a complete restoration now. Even though the roof is chopped he kept the full size windsheild. I think your right about the GTO headlights, used the ends of the fenders also. I bought a real nice all original 64 Econoline van from him with 50,000 miles on it about a month after I took the photo. The van had been stored indoors since it was new and used as a groundskeepers truck for a local shrine. It had one small dent in the rear quarter. I sold it to a freind who repainted it and has been driving it ever since. The front bumper was shortened 4" and the brackets welded to itG-Man wrote:Wow!!!! Thank Red one is bad a$$ looking. Are those GTO headlights. Gives it a Deora look
I've met a lot of people from the Internet groups in the last few years at Ford Carlisle, Daytona Turkey Run and the Mid South Econoline meet in Arkansas. I always drive one of my Econolines and try to visit anyone on the way. This years 3400 mile round trip to Arkansas included visits to fellow early Econoline owners in Jackson TN, Sarah MS and Fort Thomas KY. Here's a link to the Arkansas meet http://www.todaysthv.com/news/news.aspx?storyid=90663&catid=2#G-Man wrote:That is a very sharp van also , would love to see all of those in person someday. Internet groups are great , but we are all so far from each other we never get to see them all in person
