That's one way to do it, but not the set up on that guys car. I did one on my chevy truck, it was a complete auxiliary fuel system that sprayed gas through nitrous foggers in the exhaust. Had about 350 to 400 bucks into it. shot a good 15 ft of fire. (which I'd sell cheap if anyones interested). The afore mentioned way will give you about 1 to 3 feet of fire/ afterburner type fire. Then there's propane injection.
When you see big fire like that, it is a separate system. Heres a pick of my set up.

I painted the Truck and it was making the primer peel, and melting the tail lights (I didn't have the big extension cones)!

if i put that in the van after our fires here, the locals would beat me unconcious

oh... there would be fire. actually today we had some of the heaviest rain i've ever seen around here. i was in a barn at the fair trying to judge some goats and the next thing you know WHAMMY!!! incredible
