    Hi All, I need front and rear leaf springs for my 66 A100 Sportsman. Not had much luck locating new ones. There is a local shop here that says they can make them for me if I have the original part number(s). Are the front and rear springs the same? Thanks for any help/guidance.

    The springs depend on your van's axle ratings:

    Front springs are either
    940 lb, 6 leaf (all years) -> 2508513
    1100 or 1200 lb, 6 leaf (1969) and 1200 lb (1970-71 -> 2516277
    (I'd say if you have a 1100 lb front axle, that should be the 2516... (check your plate on the driver side regarding your axle ratings.

    Rear springs are
    1085 lb -> 2239602
    1410 lb -> 2508312
    (no year difference).

    Front spring chart:

    Rear spring chart:

    Advice: get yourself a parts book and a service manual (available at the usuale places, e.g. faxon auto literature, e-bey)
    And a short introduction is always welcome....

    I really appreciate the assistance. Been a Mopar guy forever but this is my first A100. Replaced all the front suspension components. Drives great, just need those springs. Thanks again for the info!

    quite similar car park you have cheers

    Lot's of fun.

    Are the springs really 'done'? Maybe another leaf inbetween can help.
    My charger's rear had some sag; my spring-smith said, "keep them! you won't get any better new! I'll add a leaf and you'll be fine!"

    Something to consider. All four are just flat.

    That's basically how my Charger's springs looked like.

    The spring shop added one leaf, with zinc-layer inbetween and it's been a whole new car since.
    That was like 8 years ago and the rear is still in very good shape.

    Hope you have a good spring shop around.

    look into a spring company in your area and inquire about having the springs re-arched.
    they do it all the time in the triaxles and dump tucks
    69 great job with part numbers

    I'm having new springs made by TruckPro out of Chicago. Front spring part number for 940 lb 6 leaf is 2508513. Their part number is 34-634. Rear spring number for 1410 lb 6 leaf is 2508312. Their part number is 34-981.

    They have new springs in stock or lower or raised heights, select dodge truck as the model.

    Well that makes it easy! I’ve been hanging on to a set of spare springs for ever, it might be time to let them go.

    Eaton gets about $300 more for the same set and shipping is about $110 more. However, TruckPro has about a 12-16 week turnaround since they build them. I don't know how long Eaton takes.
