    Hey everyone,

First topic to post, I have a 68 GMC G25 Handi-van that my family bought in 1973.
I got the van running great but, I can not get the break/parking light's to work. I have flasher and turns light's, but not the other's. I have looked on line for part's BUT I can not find the part they show at all...

    Help a brother out....

Well,,,,if the fuses are good, pull the 2 wires off the brake light switch and hook them together, see if the brake lights come on if not, check to see if one has power on it, sometimes those connectors just get corroded,  do the side marker lights work when you turn on the lights,,,,lets see what you find.....

If you touched the 2 wires together and the brake lights came on, then the problem is, or at the brake light switch,,,,see that the arm on the switch drops down when you step on the brakes,,,,push those wires back on and off a few times so they make a good connection and see if brake lights now come on ,,,,otherwise, you need a new brake light switch and we g are talking about them in another section here.
So you have tail lights and front parking lights?
How about take a few lenses off the side marker lights, see if they have bulbs in them,,,on some years, those are just reflectors, not actual lights.....

I do have front light's, turning light's, hazard's light's. touching the two together turned on the back light's. I have just reflectors on the side.
