Hello! Finally got this old girl ('69 108) running after four long years! Engine completely overhauled, new wiring, new brakes and lines.. I ran into a small bump however.. I cant find a replacement fuel tank filler and hose. Anybody have one laying around that you are willing to part ways??? I also want to replace the front bumper... Any ideas on what I can go with? I know it will be close to impossible to find a decent one.

Re: Fuel Tank Filler Neck and Hose
I don't have anything for you as far as a filler neck goes, but I just bought new fill hoses at Oreilly's. They are readily available.
Get one foot each of 1 3/8" and 1/2" hose. That would be plenty if you can find a stock filler neck.

Fillernecksupply.com has enough available to get you hooked up.... The spouts on the stock tank are 1 3/8" and 1/2"

Re: Fuel Tank Filler Neck and Hose
1967's only had both 16 & 24-1/2 gallon tanks - Interesting question if it was a function of engine size.
I looked at a 1967 parts book, it only listed the 16 gallon tank.
I then looked at a 1971 parts book, it lists both tanks for the G10-G20. It had an exception note for "E.E.C" (don't know what that is).
I wonder if 24-1/2 gallon was a mid 1967 design change over.
In either case there was no condition for engine size in the parts book. It will be cool to hear what the membership reports on the correlation of tank size vs. engine displacement.

Re: Fuel Tank Filler Neck and Hose
Probably in 1970, they added a vapor canister to capture the gas tank vapors with a sealed gas cap instead of our vented ones. So there would be an extra port on the tank or fuel sender for the hose,,,,,California vehicles had the stricter emission rules than all of the 49 state Federal ones.....
