I was wondering what everyone used for a gas line hose. Its for a 1966 Sportvan and I think its about 1 1/2 inches, but I stopped everywhere and no one has something that big!...

Re: Gas Neck Filler Hose
Since I am now replacing the Radiator hose the PO put in, I found a couple more options for the filler hose:

Re: Gas Neck Filler Hose
Purchased marine fuel hose @ 1-1/4" that worked great! Didn't want to crush down the NAPA 1-1/2" hose...

Bought the hose from a local hose & pipe supplier, the 1-1/4 fits the tank & filler pipe - nice snug fit.

Re: Gas Neck Filler Hose
I used the 1 1/2" like Don suggested. The clamps tightened it up just fine.
I tell you, I wouldn't of wanted it any tighter. My breather hose was was a snug fit and it made it very hard to get the gas tank in place. Laying under the van all by myself, trying to slide the tank towards the filler neck, center it over the two straps, and not scratch up the new paint on the tank!

Re: Gas Neck Filler Hose
The 1-1/4" was a tight fit, sprayed some silicon inside the hose. Took the screws out of the filler neck to get a little slack while I installed the tank, yes it was a handfull.
