First GEN stock doghouse intake

I am looking for a intake manifold and carb.that will fit with my first GEN stock doghouse with 250 six cyl. with headers.
Has anyone ever port matched and polished a stock intake manifold ?
Which is away I'm going to go and do myself if I can't find a aftermarket intake.
