Vantastic, I like your two-tone paint scheme. Looks very retro futuristic in that side view in your avatar.

Little background story to this one...about 2 weeks ago, I'm driving home and I see a satin black early Econo heading in the opposite direction from me. I'm thinking that there are no other Earlies in my area, maybe this one is attending a local car show. I attended a couple of the local ones the following week and didn't see it...yesterday, on my day off, my wife text's me and sends me these pics...It's the van I spotted a couple of weeks ago. I grab my grandson and tell him we need to get to camp quickly...I go downtown and there she is, sitting at the convenience store!!! I pull in and the owner is getting into the van. I go over to his passenger window and strike up a conversation. I tell him I have a 66 and begin asking him questions about the van. It has a 351 Windsor V8. I said, does it run hot, I see you have an air tunnel to the radiator? He says the tunnel was there when he bought it and it used to run at 210 degrees but the bought an aluminum radiator with an electric fan and it now runs at 190 no matter how hot it gets outside. Then he says, do you live on Corey Hill Road because someone told him there was another one there...this is what's cool about living in a small town. Turns out he was looking for me while I was looking for him...He also said that he didn't know it when he bought the van but once he did, the Vin# matched an Econoline that his grandfather owned years ago...pretty cool! He told me he has all kinds of tools and does welding and said if I need help with stuff, to let him know...a true vanner, I love it. Turns out he lives near the lake we camp at every summer in town. Really cool guy named Scott and his van has a nice rumble as he drives away.

Yes it does say "VAN" and it has the dual antennas in the back, kinda makes it look like Batman...and yes, Tom, I do have the itch to get mine on the road!
He told me a local cop waved him down at the High School graduation a few weeks ago and he was thinking, Oh No, he's gonna tell me I need bumpers or it's too loud...then the cop comes over, reaches in and shakes his hand and says "I don't care what anyone else says, that's the coolest vehicle in this town!"

Yes, I was a witness! It is together!! He had many visitors who really loved his van.
Rich's was one of three vans at the event. His was the nicest, in my opinion.
