by a100 nut Thu Apr 19, 2018 7:51 amhello, i am in the process of doing a major customization of my 1969 A100 sportsman ( cory cruiser ) i am seriously considering removing the high top . my question is has anyone ever thought about or put a rag top on one of these vans ? any and all opinions welcome

Yea your van is definitely special. I would hate to see it come off, but I have seen a pic of rag top installation somewhere, it has been done! I'll post the pic if I can find it.

I'd be worried about flexing as you would lose a lot of structural rigidity.
Post pics of your corey and especially the inside. I bet you could get some good money if it is nice condition. I maybe in the market myself. It would probably be a lot easier to put a giant moon roof on an a100/a108.

i havent fell out of love with the high top was just wondering if anyone has ever seen it done . i am still considering all options on my redo of the van .i do know i must rebuild the 318 thats in it dot i also am doing research on driveability issues such as steering
