69 A100 Park Light Question Empty 69 A100 Park Light Question

Post by Guest Thu Jul 27, 2017 3:28 pm

Sorry for all the questions, guys, trying to get all systems working on my project.

When I pull the headlight switch out first click, the Park Lights on the front and back come on, OK so far.

Pull the switch out second click, the headlights come on, the rear lights are still on, but the front lights go out. New switch, same thing.

    Is that correct?

    Thanks again

Dix, I tried that, but no park lights in front on the first click. So I wired the front light wire (green) to the rear light switch wire (brown) which does have power on first and second click, seems to work fine so far. Thanks

Hello, Thank you for the idea, I find so many here. Do you know if this is the case for a 66? I am finally getting around to the turn signals, brake lights etc. I have none and I have replaced the turn signal cam and flasher. I see that there is a two filament bulb in the front. Maybe my lights are like yours?

That's how my switch works as well (69).

To add confusion: if you want to have the truck roadworthy in Germany, cut the green wire - no yellow front parking lights allowed Sad You need a white one (stipulated!)
