1965 G 10 bolt rearend

Broken Axle. Have a 65G that I put a 327 and turbo 350 tranny in. Running slicks in back.

This weekend the rearend finally called it quits.

can anyone tell me which 10 bolt axles are compatable for a stock 65 rearend ?

More exact question. Summit sells Part# 700115 kit that includes 29.62" axles. Are the 65 van axles 31 1/2 long ?

Is the width of a 65 Van reaend the same as a 65 chevelle, Camero, Nova ect ?

Donivan can give you the lowdown on axle replacement, maybe just need new higher strength axles, a gear set and new bearings into your existing housing, I think there was a thread with pics on this a few years ago....the new axles have to be modified by grinding the back of the hub or something like that....anyone recall ? easier than swapping the entire rear and axle??

No it is not the same. The van rear is wider.

I suggest having Moser make new axles. Send them one of yours as a pattern so they get it right.

I have a set from a 67 I removed a couple of years back.
