Hi Gang, long time no post .
Last time I was out camping in the 65 Mercury the bench seat jammed going down. I noticed that one of the hinged supports was up higher than the other side ( see pics) and bent. I have straightened it, and all looks in good alignment. I have good power to the unit, but when I press up or down it just clicks and the turn screws flex a bit trying to turn. All is well lubricated.
Has anyone had any experience how to reset the hinges so they are the same? Can I manually adjust the turn screw on the one side to re-seat it to the full down postion? I don't want to force anything.
Thanks all.
Shaun
