I haven’t posted progress pics for some time but I’ve been very busy with my van project. I’ve had a lot of help from friends locally and through the online community. I didn't know what I was getting into but I’ve really learned a lot and acquired great respect for mechanics. I’ve also met and gotten to know some great people because of the van. I have a buddy who lets me use his shop, he guides and helps but makes me do most of the work, which is great because now I know every inch of the van. I’ve driven it throughout the south for work and have broken down in Atlanta, Daytona, Talladega (twice), Nashville and of course in my hometown Birmingham. I’ve added an AC system, a new radiator, Flywheel, trans yoke, HEI distributor, Alternator, starter, new wiring kit from EZ, rubber all around, window felt (installed by my new good friend Chris MacShane), had the gas tank fixed, new driveshaft, and fan clutch. Also just added Miata seats. I’ve painted the interior, added insulation and built walls, built an upper console to house the stereo, light controls and back up monitor. I’ll be adding the front disc brakes in the next month or so. Each time I’ve been broken down I just laugh it off and move on. I’ve loved working on this project and I really love owning it. Here are a few pics…Any suggestions or critiques are welcome!

Wow, it's sure come a LONG Way! Nice work and it's gotta make you feel great knowing all the work you've put into it! Nice Flames and pinstriping too! Love the old school Diamond tuck or whatever it's called as well as the black crossmembers on the headliner. You should be proud of your Great looking 2nd Gen!!!
