This is how the van looked when I purchased it in 2008. I have since painted, added rims and tires. I will add the recent photos when I get all the windows put back in.My 1963 Ford Falcon Station Bus 00512My 1963 Ford Falcon Station Bus 00911My 1963 Ford Falcon Station Bus 00711

My 1963 Ford Falcon Station Bus Empty New Paint

Post by primaldesigns Thu Jun 18, 2009 3:28 pm

Here is my Falcon van with the new paint and tires. Had to wait a week for the window tint to cure before they could be washed. Then I had to wait a month so I could polish and wax the van. My next goal is to rewire the van and do the interior. I have a couple of ideas but my budget is at zero. I will post some more pics when I get started on the interior. Hope you enjoy the photos. Very very Nice!!!! I love the Blue with the white. And wide white walls normially won't be my style, but look GREAT on your falcon. The blue rims with the baby moons are great also.

    Wow sweet Smile
How did you get the steering wheel white?
    Are these wheel vintiques?
The white interior makes it really clean looking.

    G-Man,
You can't see it in the photos but the color of the top is pearl white from Volvo and the bottom is electric blue from Chrysler PT Cruiser.

    Econorat,
if you look at the before pics on this post you can see that the steering wheel was originally white. I left the steering wheel the original white. As for the rims, they are 14x7 steel that came with the moon caps. I bought the rims unpainted. I then had the rims painted with the same blue paint as the body.
The rims are wrapped in Coker 2 1/4" WW P195/75R14's. 2 1/4" WW are the widest white wall available in 14" tires.

    Bill,
I was lucky enough to find a van that was pretty much straight. As you can see in the becore pics, it only very few dings here and there. The only mjor dent on the van was on the front bumper.

That is a beautiful van! I'm planning to go with simple baby moons on my Sportvan too. Who did the paint job? I'm in San Diego and am looking for a shop I can trust.
