Hello Everyone, Glad to be set up on this forum and lookin forward to sharing the progress of my new project and to learn from all of you as well. I already wish I had 3 econo series 1 vans as I am still not sure of the direction I want to go with this one. I have not had much time on any forums so please bear w/ me as I learn. Cheers and thanks for this great site to get to know more van lovers out there.

Thanks for all the kind greetings. Now off to better the stock brakes and fix pulling issue. Here in the desert southwest, high engine temps are priority one. Installed new hoses, t-stat and aftermarket temp controlled electric fan. sure helped! Will start a build thread soon. Make it a great day!

Keep us posted on your build. BTW, I lived in Tempe, Glendale and in Mesa, 3 blocks behind the Circle-K, on Main St. Keep your eyes open for any old vans with Canyon State Vans logo's on them. I was Vice President of the club in the mid 70's. My handle was "Bumble Bee". That was the van in my pic. I got the handle because the van was yellow with a black stripe and had, what a trucker described as, an "airplane motor" in it.

66ThunderVan, very cool. I will watch for the club stickers for sure. Is the club still around? Hmmm, in the mid 70's I was 10 and riding my Schwinn Stingray bikes around downtown Glendale, LOL. Thanks for reaching out here and just want to work on my van but that thing called a JOB is gettin in my way, Ha! Thanks for the continued Welcomes everyone!
