I was wondering. Can anyone tell me if 15x7 wheels will fit in the front of a 1965? Thanks.

If they don't have a deep dish offset they are ok. Just watch the OD of the tire. Mine are 26 inches tall but I'm sure you can be a little more than that.

Re: Wheel size on front question
I'm curious because I'm considering removing front leaves.......Does the van handle and track okay? How about braking? How many leaves are left after removing two? Which two did you remove? That van looks awesome!

Re: Wheel size on front question
I plan to remove some leaves from the front of mine too. For some reason, after I took apart my leaf springs, sandblasted and painted them, the van is sitting up too high. I am going to try removing the tiny one on the bottom, and one more to see if that gets it to at least a normal height. Not sure which one though. Not the long ones, so maybe the third one. Smallest, skip one, then the next one.
I've heard that Sportvans come with one more leaf than the panel vans. Here's a picture of mine:
That first rectangular thing is a shim for setting the caster angle. Then there's that short, tapered leaf. Yeah, the third leaf would be good to remove because it doesn't have brackets.
