Wheel Size Question Empty Wheel Size Question

Post by lfdcaptain Thu Jan 06, 2011 9:48 am

    Greetings to all,
I want to go with the old school Cragar look for my 68 but I'm not sure what size wheels and tires will work. I want to go with 15's front and rear, and I want the same basic look as is on the van pictured. I like the wheel off-set/dish and the fatter rear tires. Anyone have any suggestions that will get me on the track? Thanks in advance.

    Captain,

My Sportvan has 205-65-15 (Frt) and 245-60-15 (Bck). Fits fine with stock suspension.
and my Panel has 225-70-15 (Frt) and 295-65-15's (Bck). Panel has a suspension lift to support these sizes.

Here's some treads on the topic:

The van pictured looks to have 15X8 in front, 15X10 (reverse offset) in the rear. I've got the same on mine, they came with the van.

Looking at the site, I'd guess they would be
    61815 front
    and
    61017 rear
Note that they are unilug, so these numbers apply to 2 different bolt patterns.

Don't forget center caps, lug nuts and washers.
