Installing an exhaust on my Econoline. Should I install the muffler in front of the axle or behind the axle for better sound?

Re: Econoline Exhaust
I used a short 2.25" glass pack into a dyno max muffler and out in front of the passenger rear wheel and I couldn't be happier

Re: Econoline Exhaust
So you effectively have two mufflers or doesn't the glass pack classify as a muffler?

Re: Econoline Exhaust
I don't know technically, it's not restrictive, just straight through. It's more of a resonator. Actually I think it was listed as a 12" resonator. But it's just a short glass pack. I wanted to mellow the sound out more than what I thought the Dynomax would do alone. It sounded real nice w/ the 170, can't wait to see what it sounds like with the 250. Probably pretty similar.
