Spring Special Restoration Help Empty Spring Special Restoration Help

    Post by colt45 Mon Feb 29, 2016 6:41 am

I'm new to the van world and this site definitely help with questions. I'm going to do a full rotisserie restore to the spring special. The help I need is with the clips that hold on the chrome strips on what do you guy use to replace them? Are they similar or the same to say early bronco chrome clips?

    Thanks in Advance

    https://www.auveco.com/default.aspx

Auveco has a good assortment of clips and fasteners and they are available through Fastenall dealers.

Thanks I will see what they have. How about ideas for backup lights on the years without any backup lights?

Welcome to VV Colt. Post up a pic when you can weed love to see it. 67 is the only year for back up lights, replacement lenses are available, but are off of something else. Someone in here I'm sure will chime in about the lenses...I just can't remember what they came off of at the moment.

These are the 67 only back up lights. They are missing the lense at this point. You can buy replacement lenses or lamp assembly's Still, the 67 only base is not available and is somewhat hard to find.

    Aftermarket lamp assembly.
