Has anyone put seat belt buckles on their tailgates for latches? Do you like them? Thanx Much!

Thats how mine came when I got it, works for me. Looks a little better with the plastic covers on .

Yep, I did the same thing. Gets rid of the clunky chains. Only downside is the need to 'unlatch' each
side separately and when closing, the latches have to be precisely lined up before you bang them shut....otherwise, a great latch solution.
