front end of front spring.........the nut is loose. the bolt was turning fairly freely but I could not get it to back out, now it seems to be binding as I try to turn it. I can actually see the tension building in the spring as I attempt to turn bolt. either way, I have beat the crap out of it with a sledge (poor angle, though so not full power) but can not get it to back out. if it was rusted on, I would cut it out, but that is definitely not the issue. am I missing something? thanks

Re: remove front springs
Likely - the rubber that the bolt is surrounded by is whats binding it. thats within the spring eye. Ive had to press them out & even use a torch to burn them out !! Likely need to remove the spring from van??

Re: remove front springs
Picked one up quite some time ago after one of Dons demo pics. Have used it for a lot of different things. Darn handy to have around.
