don't boo me for this...

its old enough and could, maybe, be related to our vans, in some way..ie
i was taking my lunch break at work and decided to go check out the area.. (i work around the city)
and saw this little thing that caught my attention.. a righ-hand-drive-postal-jeep- DJ-5
i been told that some of these things have ford engines,, and some had the chevy engine,, all in line,
an old aquaintance had one with a ford 200 engine...
now the thing is,, has anyone had any experience with these little jeeps?
i was doing some research and the thing that appears the most is poor gas mileage, the roll-over issue and that they're fugly...
if the owner sells it and its a fair price.. .. i might be tempted to buy.. but i want to know what you guys know about these things..
