Ive had a bump steer issue for a while. I replaced the king pins and shocks but still have it. Everything seems tight. Suggestions? Thanks

Are you sure you installed the spindles back on the correct sides of the axle and didn't install the axle backwards? It has a specific factory set angle to it that could cause that if reversed.

No I really don't know if I switched them or not. How can I tell?

You can only switch them if you completely removed the axle from the truck. Spray a little red paint on one side of axle and spindle so you'll know which side goes where during reassembly by matching up the painted parts. You would have to look under the van and see which way the axle is tilted to be sure.

around 30 years back- I rebuilt a 56 chev pu =basic same front axle a on our vans. Had the same problems as ur experiencing too. I was told to put a steering stabilizer on it . I did & here today still driving that same truck with same parts on it & never had any problem since to date!!=

Thanks for the advice. I didn't remove the entire axle so I will try the stabilizer.
