Buying a 108 2 thousand miles away, flying in to drive it home. Present owner says old "trunion" set up is worn out. Do I need to find a 108 drive shaft with u-joints? Will it be direct replacement? Best way to go? I have a 108 at home but the drive shaft has u-joints at both ends so I can't get a good idea what trunion set up looks like. Could just ship the 108 shaft I have here to where other van is at. If I need a piece or 2 to have trunion replaced and someone has them let me know.

    Thanks, Mike

you would be better off finding a driveshaft company near the location of your new van drive it there , remove it & have them build a brand new one for $250. /$300. and then drive it 2,000 miles back home,
