Congrats and welcome ! If you have an early van this is the best site you could be on.
I have a 67 G. I'm no mechanic, without the help I've got from the people on this site, there is no way I would have been able to do half of the things I've done with my van.
Good luck with your van. Take your time, your van is worth it. ~ GK.

"Great Job" Question..!!!..I am thinking the Red Ceder on mine also VERY SOON the same way... Did the boards start out in 8 ft lengths and you cut them down to get that effect or did they come in different lengths..??..I guess what I am trying to say is do you think If I go with the same 8ft boards I can get away with out putting any plywood down first or do you need something behind the cedar boards for support..??..I was thinking screw 4 inch wide strips of plywood on each rib for something to fasten the boards to instead..scratch..And how wide are the boards that you used 3 or 4 inch.??...Thanks..Joe..

Glad you got the speakers squared away. You're doing a great job on those walls!
