Does anyone know if a 66 Truck radiator is the same as the G10 Van Radiator? I'm having overheating issues and I'm wanting to go to an aluminum radiator but not having a lot of luck finding one that says it will fit my van. But I do see quite a few that fits the 66 truck.

Re: 66 G10 Radiator
There's no direct replacement, but there are plenty of solutions that forum members have documented. Including mine, where I relocated the filler neck..... see the search below.

Thanks for the reply's.
Not much of an aluminum welding kind of guy lol in fact not a good welder at all.
How does the angle iron attach to the sides...weld, rivet, or bolt on?
The Mustang one will fit with no alterations?

Re: 66 G10 Radiator
You got a core support that the radiator bolts to,,,,,unless you got a fancy SportVan,,,,,you need a 1 1/2" hose connector in the upper left hand corner,,,a 1 3/4" one in the lower right hand corner,,,,,all the radiators have mounting holes to mount them to a core support,,,,,,you bolt it in,,,,,,you might have to drill holes or use a piece of angle iron to get the radiator mount to the core support,,,,,,anything better than tie wraps will get the job done,,,,,just get one that fits in the doghouse......

Re: 66 G10 Radiator
now,,,,,,,if you have a SportVan,,,,,,the radiator bolts right to the doghouse on the passenger side,,,,,,you will need some angle iron or L brackets ,,,,,,a normal van has the bolts going front to back,,,,a SportVan has them side to side.....
