I could not find a home for these 2 "c" clips any suggestions on were they might go. I see my van had no adjuster holes either...Rear drum spring hardware Brake_10

Well since our vans don't use rubber adjustment hole plugs or C Clips, I would say you might have  the wrong hardware kit,,,,,,,does everything seem right?

It looked like the adjuster spring was larger on the front drums but it looks the same size as the one in your pic. There was a right and a left spring I got that right so as it clears the screw part. There was the 2 springs that hold the shoes on one was longer than the other I put the longer green one on the side without the adjuster it seemed to make sence. As it is it seems right to me.Rear drum spring hardware Rear_d10

just make sure the spring that goes over the star wheel does not touch the wheel,,,,,,they are easy to mix up,,,,

there are a lot of different kits,,,,,some are springs, some are the star wheel and self adjusting parts,,,,,,the front shoes are 1/2" wider than the rears,,,so they take longer hold down spring pins,,,,,but as long as you had to pull a little bit to get the springs to stretch and the hold down springs keep the locking disks from turning, things should be OK.....
