I believe you can plug that hole if you put a PCV valve in the valve cover. Check on the "inline 6" site or ford.

Donn,
You can plug it with a freeze plug and switch to a PCV valve. You will have to get a 65 up valve cover with a front oil fill cap with the PV valve hole and a carb spacer with a vacuum outlet or plug to add one. You can also use a breather from a 2.3 liter Pinto motor, they press right in.

Thank you but I think I solved the problem. Ended up getting a rubber stopper with a hole through the center of it and shaved it to fit. So far its working.Vintage Metal wrote:Don, I may have the valve cover your looking for. I'll check.
