Rest In Peace G-Man

I can't believe it's been two years ago today that we lost Chris "G-Man" Hatswell. I still miss him every day, and even more as the Baker's show gets closer. My "G-Man memorial dash plates are mounted inside all of my vehicles so I see him no matter what car I'm driving. Rest In Peace Chris! We know you'll be looking over us at Baker's again this year. You will always be there with us!

Chris will be there keeping the clouds parted!

Not a Day Go's By I don't think of Him ..... Still not real to me .... Just kind of  Hurts inside .... numb still ... even after two years later ..................

Miss You Brother...!!!...I also have the memorial dash placks in both my vans and on our campers refrigerator door so I see it every time I grab a beer.... I cant believe it has been 2 years already either...!!!...

3 years today.... I sure miss him

Time really flies...Good to see you're still checking in Ken! You're one of the lucky people who got to know him personally! Still love seeing that smile of Chris'!!! GMan lives on in our hearts and minds!

Yea he had a Great smile,always glad to see anybody,or talk vans
Any time I see something Yellow, I think of Chris (You know what I mean )
He talked me in to going to my first van nats,glad I did it was the last time I saw him.

I'm a couple days late with my post, but I can't believe he's been gone 3 years already. But he's only been gone physically. I think about him all the time, and especially this time of year as I prepare for the Baker's Van Show. I texted Teresa, Chris' widow, on May 5th as I do every year. I try to stay in contact with his family and let them know how much we all still think of him and miss him. Teresa said she was especially missing his smile and his laugh, especially on Friday. So we both agreed to add in a few extra smiles and laughs as we think of Chris. He could smile and laugh and brighten up anyone's day. RIP G-Man. Miss you Buddy!

Just wanted to say how moved I've been recently by all the wonderful acknowledgements you guys have given to Chris "GMan" Hatswell. Chris passed just shortly after I joined VV. Early on I could tell what a powerful and positive roll he played here on VV. Although he wasn't around long for me to get to know him, it's very obvious he touched you oldtimers. I just feel that there's no greater tribute to a person than to keep their memory alive. I'm sure his family would be proud.
This is something about this forum that I find refreshing----the friendship and comradery this forum provides is somewhat different than most of the other car forums offer.

Thumbs up to you guys that keep the forum running and it's members in your thoughts.

Hard to believe it now been 6 years later since Chris passed. The pic Joe post was the last time I saw Chris at the 2013 Nats. My Frist and Chris had Talked me it to it(Just like Bakers 1st time

He certainly packed a Lot of Living in a much too short of a lifespan...RIP Chris! Thanks for making so many fond memories for everyone around you!
