Hey, wait a minute tower9, I got so caught up in checking out your van, I didn't notice the scenery behind it. How is that sight? They allow fires? Reservations? Totally packed?

Yeah the place is Refugio State Beach just north of Santa Barbara (right past El Capitan). We have been camping there off and on for the past 20+ years. There are fire rings on all campsites. The place books up 6 months in advance and books up fast, its a pretty popular site. Offseason is easier to get a spot.
