This is when I first bought the van 2 years ago. I paid $500.00 for it and it was in bad condition as you can see. I replaced all the lower panels and lower door panels, wheel wells. I stripped the entire van to bare metal and primed completley over. The dash was covered in carpet and glue. The floors were covered in roofing tar... it took over 2 months to clean the tar off and it it well blessed. I rebuilt the engine/trans , all new shocks and brakes ,gas tank, radiator.. a complete rebuild. I still have to paint the inside of the doors and the roof. Hopefully the dead line will be June 2014!
I decided to do something different than everyone else had. (wife says i'm back in my childhood years) . CarQuest asked what I had been doing with so many different colors of spray cans so I showed them a picture. They wanted me to take the van there once done to have a picture to hang on the wall. The van been a big hit with "Older" people and great conversational peice. Several people had offered to buy it and I had an offer on a Harley Davidson but I have no idea what the van is worth?
