Here is what I want to do to the bed of my 61 Econo pick up only mine would be slightly lighter and in birds eye maple. I also want to put benches over the wheel well in matching birds eye maple and stainless skids. This would cost less than $1400.00 compared to the one I first looked at for $3200.00 just for the floor of the bed. This would be in real wood veneer and instead of polished stainless I want to use mirrored stainless.

I hope to get the mirrored stainless parts from Dennis Farris. His friend Bill can make them cheaper than a full kit would normally cost. They wood would be veneer from this place: http://ahturf.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=3318_3319_17671&product_id=79933 . I think three 4x8 sheets will be needed if I do the entire bed.
