Brake light switch Empty Brake light switch

Post by pilotmtnraider Sun Sep 01, 2013 8:42 am

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I bought my 65Econo and everything was taken apart for the start of the body work. I have found that the brake light switch is not in place. If anyone has any pictures or can explain where it goes and how it works would make my life a lot more simple. Again, thanks for any help.

Your brake light switch works by pressure and is located in a special fitting that goes on the outlet of your master cylinder. The manifold distributes also to the front and the back and also the pressure type brake light switch. I know I have a picture of it some wheres,,, just cant find it,,,will look later if I can. Gotta run,,

see the 2 red wires...that's the switch at the end of the master. Attached to the "T" fitting that your brake lines are hooked to.Brake light switch Brake_10
