Has anyone ever done this? I know there really isn't room to put one on but I really would love to have this on my 1965 G van. There has got to be a way. Pictures would be much appreciated if you have this on your van. Also, any suggesstions to where this might go would help as well. I've got a good mechanic and $$$ to do it. I've seen the forum on the dual master cylinder which is great, but didn't see one on a brake booster

Now there is WAY more to the story,,,,,,,there is INSIDE the box information,,,,there is OUTSIDE the box information,,,,,,I will do inside the box,,,,,M1Dadio likes outside the box,,,,,,Inside the box is the equipment the van came with,,,,,,like the 1 line suicide master cylinder,,,,,thats what those boosters were,,,,,,,for one line,,,,,,even though the 2nd Gen came with 2 lines,,,the booster only worked on one of the lines,,,,,you don't want a one line master cylinder,,,,,,the 2nd Gens came with 2 lines,,,,,thats what we use,,,,,we run 1 line to the front brakes,,,1 line to the rear,,,,,so you end up with two brake systems on your 64-66 van,,,,,that is a VERY IMPORTANT modification if you want to stay alive,,,,,,so in my book,,,,,,(which not many people can read my writing), a booster on a 1 line line master cylinder is useless,,,,,so that gets you to outside the box,,,,,using parts off other types of vehicles,,,,,,disk brakes,,,,,power disk brakes,,,,rear disk brakes,,,,,so M1 or anyone,,,,,finish the story,,,,,,,,,

When I converted my 64 to 4-wheel disc brakes, I also installed a brake booster. I used a z-bar to turn the pedal linkage 90 degrees so I could run the dual master and corvette booster in front of the lower radiator tank. Works like a charm! there is a thread and pics on the old forum.

Yep, that is what I used, the bracketry anyway. it is bolted in place of the original master and turns the new booster and master infront of the rad.
