wheel cyl question. Empty wheel cyl question.

Hi, I asked for centric 134.64010 wheel cyls at napa, they crossed referenced to part 18291.The hole for the brake line fitting is at least 1/2 inch to long compaired to the ones that came off my 9'' rear so the line wont tighten down. Now they tell me 18291 is for the front and they are confused about having a right and left side. Are the fronts different then the rears if they both have 2 1/2 inch shoes ? Just trying to get the right parts as they also gave me 2 different brake drums with the same part number 122.65007. Thanks.

There are 4 different wheel cylinders. The front will not fit the rear or interchange on the same axle. The centec PN you posted is for the Rt Front due to the location of where the line connects. Also the female fitting on the wheel cyl won't accept a flair-type line, probably why you couldn't get it to tighten down.
The PN for the brake drum is correct and will fit all 4 corners providing they all have 2 1/2" wide shoes. Here are the Cintec PN for the other cyls.
    Left Rear - 13468009
    Right Rear - 13468010
    Front Left - 13464009
    Hope this helps.
